ABOUT AUCKLAND HOTEL & CHEFS TRAINING SCHOOL

Q. Where are you located?

A. We are central Auckland based. 8-10 Mountain Road, Newmarket. Just off Khyber Pass, opposite St Peters & Auckland Boys Grammar.

Q. Parking and transport?

A. Bus drop off points from all over Auckland are 20mtrs away. Trains can be accessed in Newmarket, about a 10 minute walk and we have 20 carparks for students. The carparks are a first arrive basis.

ENROLMENT QUESTIONS

Q. What are the entry requirments - do I need qualifications or industry experience?

A. We can accept students with no qualifications and industry experience as we offer a variety of courses. It is important that we discuss your requirments so we can advise the course that best suits you. Acceptance into a course is by an interview with our Student Liaison Officer. Please contact Kirsty on 307 6877 for enrolement information.

Q. How old can I be to attend?

A. Different classes suit different age groups. We have students from 16 years old up to 60! There is no limit!

Q. Can anyone get a student loan and living allowance?

A. If you are a fulltime student with NZ citizenship or you have a residential permit, you are eligible for the student allowance and student loan.

Q. Are you NZQA accredited?

A. Yes we are fully NZQA accredited and a provider of the London City and Guilds Certificate & Diploma.

Q. Are you a Private or Public Training Provider?

A. Auckland Hotel and Chefs Training School is a Private Training School.

Q. Do you accept international students?
