Chef Tutor
Brent began his career as a chef in 1981. Once completing his apprenticeship in New Zealand Brent gained further experience in Australia, Europe and America, including representing the New Zealand government at the World Expositions of 1988 and 1992 as Head Chef. Brent also spent five years on Super Yachts and three years running his own successful restaurant.
Brent joined the Auckland Hotel & Chefs Training School in February 2010 as a Chef Tutor and is responsible for presenting the level three cookery units. Brent’s qualifications include; London City and Guilds 706/1,706/ 2, assessor’s Certificate 4098 from HSI, Supervisory Food Safety (167).
Brent has also completed a diploma of business at AUT, (NZDipBus) and is currently completing a Diploma in Adult Learning and Teaching at AUT.
