Fire Alarm
Tutor Responsibilities for Fire Drill or if Alarm Sounds
Paul Anderson Chief Fire Warden
Duties:
Dial 111 for fire brigade.
Nominate a person to stand by at the front board and wait for fire engine.
Charmaine McClean Fire warden Duties: Go to the back car park and check with all tutors that roll has been called and all trainees are accounted for. Return to front of building until fire engine arrives
Kevin Hudson
Fire Warden
Duties:
Take register for all staff members and call roll to see that all are accounted for.
Jim Normensell Fire warden
Duties:
Responsible for turning gas main off.
Kerri Lamb
Fire Warden
Duties:
Responsible for turning main power off.
Harley Shen
Fire Warden
Duties:
Take visitors book from front desk and check all visitors accounted for. Ensure no one re-enters the building until after the all clear is given by the fire brigade.
All Tutors:
Duties:
Clear all classrooms or Kitchens.
Leave by your nearest exit.
Close all windows and doors as you leave the building within the safety regulations.
All wardens to take register with them and take a roll call.
No one is to leave the car park area (assembly point) until the all clear has been given by the Fire Department.
